Two-sawn

Each fall/winter Tucson has a couple of week-long strings of quality shows followed by a period of virtually nothing for what seems like another few seasons and then some. Tonight, tomorrow night, Sunday night and Monday night are all good nights to go out and catch some of these. While CMJ is going on back east and the rest of the country is deprived of most young touring bands as a result, we have Greg Gillis aka Girl Talk tonight at the Rialto Theatre, Portland's best Talk Demonic at Plush on Friday night, Salt Lake City alt-country, Band of Annuals, at Plush on Sunday night and Norman, Oklahoma's Evangelicals at Solar Culture on Monday night. The following week aint so bad either. Yeah, I can't complain too much about that. See some of y'all there, Tucson?
