The Justin Vernon Show
Bon Iver just dropped a track or two from their forthcoming Blood Bank EP which will be out sometime next month on Bloomington, Indiana's finest record label, Jagjaguwar. Of course this is good news considering that literally everyone loves these guys. The EP will be released much to the anticipation of converts of For Emma, Forever Ago and thousands of other newly-inspired Letterman fans.
"Blood Bank" says a lot. It's late-night; it's early-morning; it's euphoric and it's dismal; it's equal parts log cabin and bus station. But it's brilliant and still sounds like it was probably written in a cabin. I can't help but think that there will be no turning back for this master songwriter and his band for a long, long time.
